We are planning our Academic WorldQuestCompetition for 2023 and need your help! This trivia competition is intense, with students from all over the city competing for the opportunity to represent San Antonio on the national stage. In 2022, our students at Keystone School won the national competition against 400 different cities and 40 states. We are so proud to put together such a successful, educational, and fun event and would love your help to make it even bigger and better.
2023 International Citizen of the Year Award Celebration
March 15, 2023 | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The World Affairs Council of San Antonio cordially invites you to join us on March 15th for the 2023 International Citizen of the Year Award Celebration.
Since 1985, the World Affairs Council has honored an individual who has significantly contributed to San Antonio’s growth as an international city.
Your participation ensures the sustainability of programs the World Affairs Council of San Antonio provides the community, including educational programs for local youth. With your support, the Council can continue to promote crucial public understanding of world affairs while enhancing San Antonio’s participation in a global community.
The World Affairs Council of San Antonio was chartered in July 1982. It is a not-for-profit and non-partisan citizen’s educational forum focusing on foreign policy issues that affect our lives directly. Entirely local in governing and support, it services all individuals and organizations interested in its goals. We are a member of the World Affairs Councils of America.
We strive to promote public understanding of world affairs and United States foreign policy and to enhance the ability of its citizens and future leaders to participate in a global community. We accomplish our mission by presenting lectures, organizing discussion groups, sponsoring educational outreach programs, and hosting deliberative sessions for young professionals.
The purpose for which the corporation is organized is to be a non-profit and nonpartisan educational organization within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1986, as amended, dedicated to the education of its membership and the general public (community) about the foreign policy of the United States, and its relationships
with other countries and international organizations.
