Join the Young Professionals

Mission

The goal of the Young Professionals Committee is to create a community for young professionals within the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, with common interests in global affairs and provide opportunities for professional development and respectful public discourse about global affairs. The Young Professionals Committee is a network of internationally-minded young professionals from in and around the San Antonio area committed to engaging in social and educational activities that promote global understanding.

Get Involved

Young Professionals are provided the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and experience as they advance in their careers, while developing leadership skills in the interest of building an informed community. The Young Professionals participate in engagement efforts by the Council to promote mentoring opportunities and support San Antonio’s youth.

The Young Professionals organization provides members with a community in which to meet with internationally minded individuals and discuss the world while also making important connections and having fun. Each month members look forward to a social networking evening and an educational program. Programs in the past have included:
